Higher Everyday Devotional By Pastor W.F Kumuyi THURSDAY, APRIL 30, 2017- WAY TO MEDIOCRITY

Prophecies for 2018 by Pastor E.A Adeboye

"But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly" (II Corinthians 9:6a).

Our world is perfectly ordered by the supremely intelligent Being who created it "“ God! There is nothing left to chance, both in this material world we live in, as well as in the eternal spiritual kingdom of God which we are striving to enter. Truly, you reap what you sow. If you like excellence and hate failure or the life of average, then you have to sow well.

Hear Oswald J. Smith, "The only way to have more than enough to spare is to give God more than you can spare." Hence, the benefits derivable from our relationship with God depends entirely on our investment.

The quality and quantity of time we spend in the presence of God determines the level of grace we acquire and the extent to which we fulfil our ministries as Christians. Thus, those who relapse into irregular, unproductive devotional life, are slowly but surely leading themselves into spiritual mediocrity and consequent irrelevance. Similarly, withholding and/or underpayment of tithes/offerings certainly opens the doors for devourers that impoverish stingy people.

Challenge: Invest your resources in God's kingdom now and reap later.

Prayer: Father, teach me to lose today to gain later.

Quote: If you like excellenceyou have to sow well
