Thought refers to ideas or arrangements of ideas that are the result of the process of thinking. Thought can be either positive or negative. Mahatma Grandhi said, "_A man is but the product of his thoughts; what he thinks he becomes_". Positive thoughts bring about positive enjoyment and rest of mind, while the negative bring ones unpalatable outcome.
Most of the time, what our eyes see dictates what it feeds our mind, and eventually leads us into taking steps in line with it.

King David was idle and he suddenly looked in the direction of a woman taking her bath. However, he could not guard or manage his thought system on what he obviously mistakenly looked at, in the first place. It is possible to look and not see. But David chose to see, and he indeed saw. He fell woefully for the sin of adultery which later resulted in murder, and the dire consequences that followed.

There are so many things and devices, this day, which can pollute one's mind - pornography on the internet and the streets, obscene songs, corrupt messages, ungodly advise, etc. The truth is that you cannot isolate yourself from relating, in a way or the other, with people in the world. In fact, Jesus didn't pray that God should take us away from the world after being saved.

Only that He should keep us from the evil one (John 17:15).
As long as we still remain in this corrupt world, the way out is to guard or manage what comes into our minds, lest negative thoughts lead us into the snares of the devil that can ruin one's life. MANAGE your thought, lest it MANGLES your life; God forbid.

    PRAYER POINTS:
    1. Lord, help me to guard my thoughts, today and always.
    2. Father, please, guide my thoughts, in private, and my tongue, in public, as I go out today and always.
    3. Lord, help our youths not to fall prey of the evils on social media.

EXTRA READING FOR TODAY: Judges 10-14
Good morning and happy new day.
