There are different times/seasons in the world. God created them all. Therefore, man should rejoice in whatever time he may find himself. Are you faced with adverse, stormy, painful times? The truth is that, He created the times, and is fully aware you are in such. Equally, He is with you, and on top of the situation working out everything for your good.

Remember that Paul and Silas were arrested for doing the business of God, and were eventually imprisoned. Joseph in Egypt had a bad time, though, he committed no sin. Nonetheless, they were in their times/situations, rejoicing because they were able to see God's hand in them. Anytime your situation blindfolds you from seeing the goodness of God in your situation, you will not be able to rejoice.

Jesus experienced rough times during His earthly ministry. When life is beating up, down, left and right, and life seems to be too hard to find joy, try to look around and you will find Jesus the reason for joy (CAC GHB 828). When upon life's billows you are tempest tossed. When you are discouraged, thinking all is lost, count your many blessings, name them one by one.

Brother/sister, remember that, part of being a Christian means we will face difficult times (John 16:33; Philippians. 1:29). Job had difficult situations, yet he found joy in them (Job 1:21). All you need to do is to change your perspective about life. Always try to look for Him in every situation you are, whether good or bad (Isaiah 43:2).

    PRAYER POINTS
    1. Lord, help me to always see You in any situation I might find myself in life.
    2. I receive strength and grace to overcome my life challenges, in Jesus' name.
    3. Pray for people around you, going through hard times, financially, martially, spiritually, academically, vocationally, etc.
