W.F. Kumuyi Devotional for MONDAY, NOVEMBER 27, 2017 - TOPIC HUNT FOR HARVESTERS

    TEXT: MATTHEW 9:37

    BIBLE TEXT: Higher Everyday

    BIBLE TEXT: Higher Everyday

"Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the laborers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth laborers into his harvest"(Matthew 9:37).
In agriculture there are various machines used for harvesting crops. One of such is called combine harvester. This machine reaps, threshes and cleans a cereal crop in one operation. During harvests, farmers engage many laborers because of a lot of work to be done. They also work with those who are competent to avoid loses. Human harvesters and labourers are needed in God's harvest field. The world is that field. Many souls are ripe for harvest, they perish if nobody reaches them with the gospel.  Open Heavens devotional November 27 2017

"Not to preach the gospel means that we hide the medicine from the patient," said Reinhard Bonnke. God needs laborers to work with Him to bring in the ripened harvest (John 9:35). The opportunity to harvest souls is always there. In your school, home and neighborhood, you can share the gospel through text messages and Whatsapp etc. Do not be idle. Never procrastinate! Arise and share the good news today. God will reward all faithful harvesters.
