    Famine is a tough season of lack of food. However, God says, “At destruction and famine thou shalt laugh. A Writer told a story of the ant and the grasshopper. In summer, the ant works, gathering food while the grasshopper plays. When winter sets in, the ant has time to rest and sleep. The grasshopper on the other hand starves in the cold because he does not understand that adequate preparation for tomorrow is the wise use of today.

    What a great lesson from the ant! According to Benjamin Disraeli “The secret of success in life is to be ready when the time comes.” Are you always ready? All youths going through this devotional need to prepare well for their future. Use your today wisely for a secure and better tomorrow. As a student, you must be diligent in your studies, working with your examination in view to avoid failure. Use your finances wisely to survive times of scarcity. Watch your health properly to avoid sickness. Above all, put your trust in God, and He will be your defense and provider in every storm of life.
    Challenge: Prepare well today for your tomorrow.
